I AM NEW TO SUCKLESS AND I HAVE ALOT TO SAY [may 27, '26]

In DJ Peach Cobbler's video "I am BEGGING you to Stop Caring", he opens with the following line:

"Once a year, I make a video that I regret. And it's time."

This is the blog post equivalent of that.

So, suckless. For those of you who aren't in the know and don't suffer from the specific kind of brain damage that I have, suckless is a pseudo-cultural-movement that manifests itself as a group of developers deciding to make software that requires you to read the unabomber manifesto to know why your piece of shit window manager wont compile.

yes, i have used dwm. i have tried it several times before. i've even, to the shock of some, enjoyed using dwm. that enjoyment was quickly tempered by the message in my terminal saying Hunk #5 failed.

look guys, i know you arent trying to be user friendly here, but give me a fucking break. seriously. what the fuck were you thinking? what strain of ultra-weed made you think this was Great, Actually? im gonna lose my fucking mind. seriously, just stop. stop doing this. this isnt cool. rename your site to suckmore or something. jesus christ.

i use arch btw. its completely unrelated but you need to know obviously.
